Preliminary Background Application
- The Los Santos Police Department is seeking individuals who are determined, dedicated, and committed to combating crime in the city. The department is divided into several divisions, each with a specific focus on targeting a particular area of crime or supporting the department as a whole. Applying to become a police officer is one of the most significant roles in the city, requiring not only interpersonal skills but also dedication, motivation, and commitment to ensuring success for both the department and yourself.
- ─ Basic Application Requirements
- Applicants are required to be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.
- Applicants are required to be in possession of a valid San Andreas driver's license at the time of application.
- Completion of high school education from a U.S. institution, G.E.D. or any equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Applicants must be either citizens of the United States or permanent resident aliens who meet the eligibility requirements for citizenship and have applied for it as per the guidelines of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). During the selection process, candidates are required to submit proof that their application for citizenship has been accepted by ICE before the written test date.
- The City of Los Santos relies on its Police Officers to maintain the safety and integrity of the community by preventing crime and corruption. As such, it is crucial that candidates exhibit a history of ethical and moral conduct. Your past actions and decisions must exhibit positive qualities that align with the requirements of a Police Officer and reflect positively on your character. Individuals with a history of unethical or immoral behavior will not be considered for the position. Candidates will undergo a comprehensive background evaluation in accordance with the Public Safety Background Standards of the City of Los Santos.
- To become a member of the Los Santos Police Department, you must be in outstanding physical condition with no health issues that would limit your ability to complete Academy training or perform police duties safely. Your weight and body fat percentage should be proportionate to your height and build to ensure that you can carry out physical tasks efficiently.
- Applicants must be prepared and able to undergo the entire recruitment process within a minimum of fourteen (14) days. Additionally, applicants must be willing to participate in and adhere to the entirety of the recruitment process.
- Applicants must not be concurrently engaged in a recruitment process with any other law enforcement agency.
- Have no admin record for the past two months.
- Be able to communicate in English fluently through voice and text.
- Have a functional microphone available. If not available, understand that you'll have to ride along with other members unless otherwise told.
- Candidates must have a positive reputation within the Community and may be deemed ineligible for the selection process if they have been previously subject to admin jails or bans.
- You should prioritize your LSPD character as your main character. However, it is acceptable to have alternative characters as long as you are able to balance your activity between them.
